LathMized™ NAD+
Liver Support Protocol

The liver is the body's primary metabolic engine. When NAD+ depletes in hepatic tissue, the cycle of sluggish metabolism and cellular stress begins. This protocol is a precision nutritional bridge.

This protocol is designed for

Is this right for you?

You've been told you have a fatty liver — NAFLD or NASH — and you want to do something about it beyond "lose weight and exercise more." This protocol works at the cellular level of what's actually going wrong.
You're tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix — and your blood tests keep flagging something with your liver function. That fatigue is often the liver's way of telling you it's running low on the cellular energy it needs.
Those with pre-cirrhotic dysfunction — where NAD+ depletion and impaired metabolic signalling are clinically observed.
You want to break the cycle — the oxidative stress, the lipid accumulation, the tired cells — and you're looking for something that actually addresses the cellular mechanism, not just the surface numbers.
You've tried other NAD+ supplements and felt nothing — that's often because a compromised liver can't efficiently convert precursors. LathMized™ delivers NAD+ directly, without relying on those pathways.
You're in this for the long term — you want a structured, supervised approach that gives you the best possible chance of meaningful, sustained hepatic improvement.
What this protocol supports

Key clinical benefits

All claims are based on statistically significant biomarker changes from the RENEWAL-NAD+ placebo-controlled double-blind RCT (NCT07336836).

NAFLD/NASH Metabolic Support
NAD+ is essential for hepatic energy regulation. LathMized™ delivers directly to hepatic cells, bypassing conversion pathways that may be compromised in fatty liver conditions.
Oxidative Stress Defence
The RENEWAL-NAD+ trial showed significant improvements in glutathione recycling and antioxidant enzyme function — directly supporting the liver's defences against oxidative damage.
Healthy Lipid Metabolism
Trial data showed improved lipid profile indicators and reductions in circulating lipid species linked to hepatic fat accumulation — supporting healthy lipid clearance.
SIRT1 Hepatic Activation
SIRT1 — a key regulator of hepatic fat metabolism — requires NAD+ as its cofactor. The RENEWAL-NAD+ trial confirmed a 32% increase in SIRT1 expression.
Liver Enzyme Regulation
Biomarker data showed favourable modulation of hepatic enzyme regulation, redox signalling pathways, and antioxidant defence mechanisms, consistent with engagement of NAD-dependent metabolic pathways.
Systemic Energy Restoration
As the liver processes lipids and regulates glucose more effectively, whole-body energy improves — reducing the fatigue characteristic of hepatic metabolic dysfunction.

All benefits listed reflect statistically significant biomarker changes from the RENEWAL-NAD+ placebo-controlled double-blind RCT (NCT07336836) — conducted with the Institute of Systems Biology and published on bioRxiv 2026. Peer review pending.

Clinical evidence

Backed by a double-blind RCT

The RENEWAL-NAD+ study — conducted with the Institute of Systems Biology, approved by Western IRB (Protocol No. 20215675) — provides the clinical foundation for the LathMized™ platform.

"LathMized™ NAD+ showed statistically significant improvements in biomarkers related to liver enzyme regulation, hepatic lipid handling, antioxidant protection, and oxidative stress defence across 67 biological pathways. Glutathione recycling and detoxification enzyme function were among the most significantly modulated."

Common questions

Questions about the Liver Support Protocol

Is this protocol suitable if I already have a NAFLD or NASH diagnosis?
Yes — this protocol was specifically formulated with NAFLD and NASH in mind. The Phase 1 dosing at 1,000mg daily addresses the significant hepatic NAD+ depletion observed in fatty liver conditions, and the LathMized™ delivery bypasses the conversion pathways that may be compromised in a fatty liver. That said, every member goes through a practitioner review first, and your hepatological history is specifically assessed at that stage. You should continue all consultations with your Hepatologist or GP — this is a nutritional adjunct to, not a replacement for, your existing care.
Why does this protocol use powder rather than tablets in Phase 1?
The powder format allows for higher-dose repletion and slower mucosal absorption when dissolved in water and sipped over time. For liver conditions specifically, this matters because the liver itself may have compromised conversion capacity — the powder's direct mucosal delivery bypasses conversion pathways entirely. The 1,000mg daily dose split into two portions also mirrors the BID (twice daily) dosing schedule used in the clinical protocol for hepatic conditions. Once repletion is achieved at Day 16, you transition to the tablet format for convenient long-term maintenance.
Can I take this alongside my existing liver medication?
This is specifically reviewed during your practitioner assessment. Your assigned Harmover practitioner will review any current medications alongside your hepatic history before approving the protocol. Please disclose all medications during registration — including any hepatoprotective agents, statins, or supplements. NAD+ at the doses used in this protocol is generally well-tolerated, but your practitioner will confirm suitability for your specific situation. Always inform your GP or Hepatologist that you are following this programme.
What monitoring is recommended during the protocol?
The Liver Support Protocol includes practitioner-guided monitoring recommendations covering blood pressure, fasting glucose, and — if available to you — liver function markers such as ALT, AST, and GGT. Your practitioner will include specific monitoring guidance in your protocol document and will check in at the Phase 1 to Phase 2 transition. You don't need to arrange special tests beyond what your GP or Hepatologist may already be monitoring — but sharing those results with your Harmover practitioner at check-in points is encouraged.
How long before I notice changes?
The RENEWAL-NAD+ trial showed measurable intracellular NAD+ changes within 5 days. For liver-specific outcomes, most members report noticeable shifts in energy and the fatigue associated with impaired hepatic function within the first 2 to 3 weeks. Metabolic markers — lipid profiles, fasting glucose, liver enzymes — are slower moving and more meaningful at the 60 to 90-day mark. This is a long-term programme: the Phase 1 repletion lays the foundation, and the benefits compound across the full programme duration.
What is the difference between buying products individually versus as a bundle?
The individual product option lets you purchase the Phase 1 Powder and Phase 2 Tablets separately — useful if you're already mid-protocol and only need to reorder one phase. The bundle includes both phase products together and is priced as a complete programme kit. Both options require member registration and practitioner approval. The bundle is the most straightforward option for new members starting the full protocol.
Is this a prescription product? Do I need a doctor's referral?
LathMized™ NAD+ is classified as a dietary supplement — it is not a prescription product and you do not need a GP referral to register. However, Harmover's practitioner review is built into the registration process for every member, because the Liver Support Protocol is specifically designed for people with hepatic health concerns and that context matters for appropriate use. You register free, a Harmover practitioner reviews your health summary, and they approve your access. That review is what makes this supervised rather than self-prescribed.
Important information

Before you begin

Please read

This is a wellness and nutritional programme — not a medical treatment for NAFLD, NASH or any liver condition, and not a replacement for your hepatological care. Please continue all consultations with your Hepatologist or GP and ensure they know you are following this programme. We specifically recommend monitoring blood pressure and fasting glucose throughout, which your practitioner will include in your protocol guidance. If you are taking hepatoprotective medication, statins, or other liver-related treatments, please disclose these during registration so your practitioner can review appropriately.
