Description

Harmova D3 delivers Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol)—the natural, bioidentical form of vitamin D that the skin produces in response to sunlight. Vitamin D3 plays a foundational role in human health, supporting bone density, immune function, muscle performance, and mood regulation.

How It Works:

Once absorbed, Vitamin D3 is converted by the liver into 25-hydroxyvitamin D (calcidiol), then further activated by the kidneys into its hormonal form, calcitriol. In this active form, Vitamin D3 binds to Vitamin D receptors (VDRs) found across a wide range of tissues and cells throughout the body, regulating the expression of hundreds of genes involved in calcium absorption, immune response, cell growth, and neuromuscular function. Because Vitamin D3 is fat-soluble, it is best absorbed when taken alongside a meal containing dietary fats, which support its uptake through the intestinal wall into the bloodstream.
